The president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, has agreed this morning after meeting with the Minister of Health, Ana Barceló, to limit the meetings to members of the same coexistence unit . That is, to people who live in the same house. This has been announced by the Presidency, in a brief note indicating that the rule will come into force tomorrow with its publication in the DOGV.

Although much of the details of it are not yet known, the Generalitat has clarified that the norm will also include the limitation of meetings between people in public spaces , where only the meeting of two non-cohabitants will be allowed.

In the communication made this morning, the Consell also reports the extension of the regional perimeter confinement, or what is the same, that it will continue without being able to enter or leave the Valencian Community.

The main novelty announced is the  municipal perimeter confinement of cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants during weekends and holidays . These are the towns of València, Alacant, Elx, Castelló, Torrevieja, Torrent, Orihuela, Gandia, Paterna, Benidorm, Sagunt, Alcoi, Sant Vicent del Raspeig, Elda-Petrer and Vila-real.

All these measures will be in effect until February 15.
