The Valencian Community faces the end of Holy Week with new measures . The president of the Consell, Ximo Puig, appeared this afternoon to report on the new measures in the provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Castellón after presiding over the Interdepartmental meeting of the Generalitat for Prevention and Action against covid-19 .
Social gatherings
The Generalitat will allow, starting next Monday, the meetings of two groups of coexistence in the same address and extends from 4 to 6 people the maximum allowed for meetings in the public sphere or at the tables of bars and restaurants.
The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, has made this announcement after the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission of the Generalitat for the Prevention and Action against covid-19, in which the relaxation of some restrictions and the continuity of others, which will be in force between April 12 and 25.

The latest autonomy restrictions came into effect on March 15 and their validity ends at 11:59 p.m. next Monday, after the Holy Week and Easter festivities have passed . When these measures were announced, the Valencian Community had a cumulative fourteen-day incidence of 57.66 cases per one hundred thousand inhabitants, 698 people hospitalized due to covid (178 of them in ICUs) and a percentage of occupation of covid patients 4.56% in the plant and 16.48% in intensive care.
At the moment, almost a month later, the cumulative incidence is 32.61 (the lowest in Spain and the only autonomy below 50), there are 406 hospitalized (83 of them in ICU) and the percentage of patient occupancy covid on the wards is 2.48% and in intensive care 8.18%.
